Terminal
Rejuvenating a Tired Facility
The City of Stevens Point looked to
our Architects to develop a plan to revitalize and enhance
the 1950’s airport terminal. Meetings with the local pilots
association discussed priorities for the improvements. The
costs to build new were compared to the costs to remodel and
expand.
The result, participants showed strong support for a
complete remodel of the existing space with the addition of
a new entrance, accessible restrooms and an observation
deck. The goals were increased building security, better
use of the available floor space and the enhancement of the
image for the airport. |
