Protect and Maintain an Investment
Price County has a new facility to
store eight of its largest tri-axle trucks with snow removal
and salt spreading equipment attached. An in-floor
heat system, high efficiency boilers, energy recovery
ventilators and a digital control system have been
incorporated to increase the building’s energy efficiency.
Special consideration was given to the treatment of the
water derived from snow melting off the trucks. Salt laden
water is collected, then pumped through a filtering system
to remove contaminates. The water is then reutilized to
make brine for winter salt application, evaporated and/or
discharged. |
