NORTH AIR STRIPPER
REPLACEMENT

TIME AND PLACE FOR BIDDING
Notice is hereby given by the Village of Rothschild, Marathon County, Wisconsin
that it will receive separate sealed bids for North Air Stripper Replacement
until 1:30 p.m. on August 18, 2010, in the Clerk’s Office at the Village of
Rothschild, 211 Grand Avenue, Rothschild, Wisconsin 54474. Bids will be
publicly opened and read by the undersigned at that time and date.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Bids will be received for the proposed improvements which generally consist of
the following work:
Work includes removing existing VOC air stripper,
blower and piping; salvaging the media for use in new air stripper;
furnishing and installing a new carbon dioxide air stripper and blower;
installing the salvaged media into the new carbon dioxide air stripper;
disposal of existing equipment and media not used; and restoration of
work site.
DOCUMENTS
The Project Manual, with Drawings and Bidding Forms, is on file and may
be reviewed at the Village of Rothschild Clerk's Office, at the office
of Becher-Hoppe Associates Inc., and at the following Builders
Exchanges.

Inc., 330 Fourth Street, P.O. Box 8000, Wausau, Wisconsin
54403/54402-8000, upon payment of a $50 non-refundable fee.
PROOF OF RESPONSIBILITY
Potential bidders shall submit a Bidders Proof of Responsibility to
Village of Rothschild, 211 Grand Avenue, Rothschild, Wisconsin 54474,
five days prior to the bid opening.
The Village of Rothschild reserves the right to reject the bid by a
contractor when answers in the Proof of Responsibility and financial
statement are not satisfactorily sufficient.
SUBMITTING BIDS
No bids shall be considered unless submitted on the official Bid Form by
a qualified bidder. Each bidder must deposit with the BID, security in
the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the
Instructions to Bidders along with supplement forms required. The Owner
reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities
in bidding and to award the contract(s) in the best interests of the
Owner. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the bid
opening.
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
The work described herein is subject to the provisions of Section
66.0901 and 66.0903 and other applicable sections of the Wisconsin
Statutes.
