Becher Hoppe began as an engineering and surveying firm in 1954 by engineer Archie Becher Sr. and land surveyor, Melvin Hoppe. In 1973, architectural services were added to the firm. The company continued to grow and in 1985, the firm purchased a 24,000 square foot office building in downtown Wausau, Wisconsin where the firm is now headquartered.
