Becher Hoppe staff attends WisDOT Seminar  

Michael Kowal, Transportation Services Manager and Todd McDonald, Project Engineer of Becher-Hoppe Associates recently attended the Wisconsin Department of Transportation training “How to Work with Indian Tribes: A Historical and Legal Perspective”, held in Green Bay. The training provided insight on how Native American tribes view historical impacts from highway projects and how to efficiently consult with tribal elders to determine impacts from early on in a project and work toward a resolution.  The training also provided an introduction to Federal Indian Law and how it impacts highway construction projects.
