Peterson attends Airport Pavement Workshop
Daryl Peterson of Becher-Hoppe Associates,
Inc., recently attended an Airport Pavement Workshop
sponsored by the Asphalt Institute of Lexington, Kentucky
and in conjunction with the Federal Aviation Administration.
The workshop held in Chicago, addressed Superpave Asphalt
mix, warm mix asphalt, selection of asphalt binder, pavement
design, construction practices and rehabilitation
alternatives for asphalt pavement. Techniques addressed in
the workshop are applicable to all asphalt pavements from
municipal roads and airports to the county and state road
network. The informative and valuable workshop attracted
people from across the United States and from other
countries. |
