Wisconsin Integrated Resource Management Conference
Becher-Hoppe Associates, Inc.’s
Engineer Evelyn Fisher attended the 2010 Wisconsin
Integrated Resource Management Conference sponsored by the
Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin County
Solid Waste Management Association, and the Wisconsin Badger
Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America.
Topics included the keynote presentation about restoring
ecological health to the land with resource conservation and
planning so that nature will benefit. While participants
recognized the 20 years of Wisconsin’s Recycling Law, they
look toward the future, more innovations, and increasing use
of available resources. An update about the global
economics of resource management practices concluded the
program. Representatives of government, businesses and
professional organizations attended with the recycling and
other technical experts. |
