Hoppe Named as Finalist for ATHENA Award®
Marijean Hoppe, Airport Service Group
Manager, has been announced as a finalist for the 25th
Annual ATHENA Award®, which will be presented on November
3.
The ATHENA Award®. is presented annually by chambers of
commerce, women’s organizations and universities. The award
is established through local host organizations in
partnership with ATHENA International’s national
underwriters, local businesses and individual sponsors.
Nominations are solicited and an ATHENA sculpture is awarded
to an individual in the community who exemplify the highest
level of excellence, devote time and energy to the community
and have been instrumental creating leadership opportunities
for women.
Since the program’s inception in 1982 more than 6000 awards
have been presented in over 500 communities. By honoring
exceptional leaders, the ATHENA Award® Program seeks to
inspire others to achieve excellence in their professional
and personal lives.
Marijean’s dedication at Becher Hoppe and work with many
community organizations are examples of why she is an ideal
