Dahl Attends Wastewater
Pumping Systems and Lift Station Course
Brent R. Dahl, Project Manager at
Becher-Hoppe Associates, Inc. recently attended a wastewater pumping
systems and lift stations professional development course at the
University of Wisconsin-Madison. Topics included pumping equipment
selection, applied hydraulics, factory-built lift stations; lift
station operation and maintenance; understanding pumping units,
station electrical systems and controls; problem solving; station
rehabilitation; submersible stations and owner perspectives. As part
of the course, Dahl had the opportunity to tour a pump station in
the City of Madison. The information covered in the course has
already assisted Dahl in the design of several projects that Becher
Hoppe is currently involved with. |
