Project Description

Becher Hoppe provided the construction services for the Wadleigh Street Bridge over the Plover River in the Village of Hatley.  The Plover River is a Class II trout stream making construction more challenging to protect this habitat.

 Project Features

·         60’ long two-span flat slab concrete bridge

·         Type M tubular steel bridge railing

·         Steel piling foundations

·         Heavy riprap (using local red granite)

·         Asphaltic pavement approaches

·         Water and sewer coordination with Village of Hatley

·         Pavement marking

·         Agency coordination with WDNR and Army Corp of Engineers

·         Construction observation and administration
