The reconstruction of S. 1st Avenue in the City of Wausau included water and sewer main and lateral replacement in addition to the road reconstruction. This project required acquisitions (temporary limited easement, fee, and permanent limited acquisitions) of approximately 56 parcels. Most of the acquisitions were accomplished using the Nominal Parcel Payment Report (NPPR) method; however, appraisals were required on five parcels. Becher Hoppe negotiated half of the parcels and provided project management services, including coordination and oversight of the negotiation, appraiser, and appraisal review sub-consultants.
