Position: Structural Engineer (Newly Created Position)

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop the structural engineering division within our firm, setting the vision and direction for growth.
  • Identify potential opportunities for expanding our product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our team of engineers, contractors, and the client, to develop integrated solutions that align with our clients' needs.
  • Lead the design and analysis of structural engineering projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and local codes.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional development within the structural engineering discipline.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry advancements and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative practices into our structural engineering processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Proven experience in the field of structural engineering in either highway and pedestrian bridges, or dams.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and inspire teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
