Dams Portfolio

The Pella Dam is located along the Embarrass River in Shawano County and provides recreations opportunities for local and visiting tourists. Becher Hoppe provided engineering services for concrete repair work in 2008. In 2018, the WDNR required dam safety inspection revealed additional concrete repairs were needed. Becher Hoppe assisted the Town with preparing construction plans and specifications to again repair the dam. In 2020, the Town of Pella received a WDNR Municipal Dam to perform the needed repairs estimated to be $200,000 in construction cost.  Construction repairs are planned for 2021.
